NIH & Adobe Forms

  • From the 4/22/08 items of interes: Other Federal agencies are moving to Adobe forms, why not NIH? We are getting this question more and more frequently. It is good to know that applicants are generally pleased with the new Adobe forms and are anxious for NIH to make the move. We look forward to the change, too…we also have good reasons to wait for the right time to make the move. read the entire article here

GRANTS.GOV OVERVIEW

Grants.gov allows electronic access to more than 1,000 grant programs offered by all Federal grant-making agencies. Grants.gov replaces paper applications with electronic forms and requires electronic submission of all applications. It is the central portal for grant announcements and submissions.

All federal granting agencies now post their funding opportunities on Grants.gov (many also post on their own funding websites). Most agencies require submission via Grants.gov as well; some are still rolling submission out according to their own timetable. Regularly visit agency websites to keep abreast of their evolving migration to electronic posting and receipt of applications. See Agencies Implementation of Grants.gov.
