Removal of Barcode Decals & Overlays

The DPA should only remove Stanford identification decals when an item is:
  1. Returned to the manufacturer for replacement
  2. Used as a trade-in towards another purchase
  3. Returned to the sponsor or other third-party owner

Surplus Property Sales (SPS) is responsible for removing identification decals when an item is sold or processed for scrap by SPS.

Replacement of Lost Identification Decals (Tags)

A replacement for an SU.ID tag that is damaged or lost may be obtained by the DPA from their Property Service Representative (PSR). Only PMO can issue replacement tags.
