The PACE meeting was a packed session which resulted in a lot of questions.  As such, we thought it valuable to provide this summary.

  • General Announcements/Updates - see slides for info
    • Welcome New DPAs
    • Congratulations to DPAs achieving their CPPA Property Certification
  • Export Control
    • New web site launched by Dean of Research includes:
      • Forms, templates, and FAQs for export control info
      • Temporary Exports (loans/transfers out of US)
      • “No License Required” (NLR) certification forms for travel involving Stanford property (laptops, pdas, etc)

      • Full reviews underway for departments involved
      • Special equipment labeling in areas hESC exists
      • Additional requirements being communicated to DPAs and other staff involved in these areas

  • B07 Inventory
    • Cycle closes August 31, 2007
      • All reconciliations must be complete by Aug 17th
      • All remaining unlocated assets will be declared unaccounted
    • Several major inventories still in progress
      • Minimum 95% Required for each campaign
      • Departments achieving less than 95% will be required to provide from the department’s management a written plan of action to resolve and improve their processes
  • Screening on Requisitions
    • Purchase Requisitions not yet “editable”
    • Workaround process for now
    • PMO Reviewing requisitions in routing
