NCURA Workshop - December 2, 2005

What am I Signing Anyway? Proposal Review from an Institutional Point of View

This session has already happened - if you would like to check out the DVD please contact the ORA Training Office.

Whether you review proposals or serve as the institutional authorizing official, there are many issues that you need to address before submitting a proposal. Faculty commitment, cost-sharing and availability of facilities and space are just some of the crucial factors that must be reviewed before you commit your institution to undertake a project. With limited time and resources, how should you structure the proposal review process to make sure that the most important
issues are covered? The panelists will take you through a typical proposal review, help you understand those incomprehensible certifications, and provide helpful hints for dealing with crazy proposal deadlines and last minute submissions. Before submitting your next proposal, find out what your signature really means!
