The Office of Research Administration (ORA) will be tracking Cardinal Curriculum Certification in the STARS Training and Registration system. We are asking everyone who is working toward a Level I or Level II certificate to register for the Cardinal Curriculum Level I and Level II programs in STARS. As you complete the required courses for these programs, your certification status will be updated. If you already have a certification in one of these levels, you should still register - you will automatically be granted certification in STARS.

To register for a program, log in through the Axcess Portal using your SUNET ID. 

When you reach the portal:

1. Click on the "Training" tab.
2. Select "Learning Home" from the left navigation.
   
   
   
3. Type "Cardinal" into the Title box and select the search button.
   
   
   
4. The search should return with the following programs:
   
   - Cardinal Curriculum Level I
   - Cardinal Curriculum Level II
   
   select one of the programs by clicking on the blue hyperlink name:
   
   
   
5. Register for the program by selecting the "Register" button
   (Cardinal Curriculum Level I is pictured below )
   
   
   
6. Completing the Process - select the "Submit Registration" button
   
   
   
   This brings you to the "Registration Confirmation" page. At this point you can return to your "Learning Home" and repeat the process for Cardinal Curriculum Level II, register for other classes, or close the browser window.
