Kathryn "Kam" Moler, Vice Provost and Dean of Research, invites and encourages you to attend an educational and interactive workshop on NIH and NSF disclosure requirements for affiliations and collaborations, both inside and outside of the US.  Learn how to address federal partners’ concerns with undue foreign influence, ensure appropriate disclosures under grant conditions and institutional polices, and enable collaborations.  Guidance will be offered on reporting Other Support, Foreign Components, and Significant Financial Interests.

The guest speaker will be Valerie Bonham, a D.C.-based attorney from Ropes & Gray who spent close to 20 years at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including as a senior advisor in the NIH Office of the Director. Her expertise includes grant policy compliance, conflicts of interests, and enforcement inquiries.  Joining her will be Susan Stayn from the Stanford Office of the General Counsel and Vice Provost and Dean of Research Office along with leaders from University and School research administration.
