Award Scams Target Faculty and Researchers

Be wary of academic or research awards offered by unverified organizations.

The uncertain state of US government funding for sponsored research activities has resulted in the uptick of illegitimate and fraudulent activity.  Faculty and researchers should be careful of any emails or communications promising awards and funding by organizations which cannot be verified.
