Grants.gov will be unavailable for an extended period between September 23 and 29, 2022

Grants.gov will be unavailable for an extended period between September 23 and 29, 2022 as it is being migrated to the cloud. The transition is expected to be completely seamless to applicants. Read "What to Expect" for more details.  We will not be able to submit through the grants.gov portal during the extended downtime.

NOTE: Cayuse and the NIH ASSIST system will continue to allow application initiation and preparation for funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) that have already been downloaded into those respective systems even when Grants.gov is offline.  In Cayuse, if an FOA was not downloaded prior to the outage, you will not be able to be initiate an application for that FOA until the outage is concluded.

Most federal sponsors, such as the NIH, have moved any due dates that previously did fall on the extended downtime period to shortly after. The impact on investigators and department research administrators should be minimal.
