Property Management Training Resources
PMO offers a variety of different training options throughout the year. If you are new to property management, you will need to take our introductory PMO-1000 Department Property Administrator (DPA) training course. An existing Department Property Administrator (DPA) looking for a course to refresh their knowledge base can participate in our PMO-2000 DPA Refresher course. Finally, our Property Administrators Continuing Education (PACE) meetings (offered twice a year) are a good way for new and veteran DPA's to be informed about property related news and other relevant information. All training courses and PACE registration can be accessed via the STARS application.

PMO-1000 DPA Certification Class
Comprehensive course required for all Department Property Administrators, recommended for anyone assisting with capital equipment and other property issues. Offered quarterly, register PMO-1000 in STARS.
PMO-2000 DPA Refresher Series
Q1: Research DPA - January 2026
Q2: Top Three Tasks - April 2026
Q3: Extreme Excess - July 2026
Q4: Small Department Focus - October 2026
PMO-3000 PACE MEETING - April 23, 2026
Meeting held twice a year to communicate news, updates in policy or procedures, and upcoming events by the Property Management Office. Register in STARS, PMO-3000.
Introduction to Inventory - August 2026
Class is for first time inventory DPAs to explain the process of Stanford's capital equipment inventory and the correct procedures to follow. Background on the importance of successfully completing the Biennial Inventory. All DPAs are welcome if they feel an inventory refresher is in order.
