OSR Offers 30+ "How to" Zoom Webinars on Foundational Research Administration Topics with Live Q&A.

Effective with the Fall 2024 Quarter (October 1, 2024) many OSR webinars have been incorporated into the Cardinal Research Administration Foundational Training (CRAFT) program.  Anyone with an Active SU Net ID is welcome to attend/audit CRAFT webinar courses without registering for them using the ORA Webinar Zoom Link.  However, official CRAFT course credit will only be provided in STARS to attendees that register for the relevant CRAFT course(s) thru STARS, attend the full live session for which they are registered, and complete the prescribed independent graded assignment within 2 weeks of attending the live webinar.

The live CRAFT webinars being offered each week are announced via the ORA Updates and SMART email lists.

  • Research Related Agreements - Please refer to the OSR-SeRA Webinar Recordings & Slides for this webinar.

    • A Research Related Agreement or “RRA”  is a contract between Stanford and one or more non-Stanford entities that governs the conduct of a non-sponsored research project or set of non-sponsored research activities.  Unlike sponsored project agreements e.g., contracts, grants, etc., RRAs are not externally funded by a Sponsor.  Data Use Agreements or “DUAs”, collaboration agreements, consortium agreements, material transfer agreements (MTAs), and non-sponsored subawards all fall into the RRA category.  Investigators and administrators can request new Research Related Agreements (RRAs) from within SeRA.
